"I must have visited the store 20 times working up to my purchase. The staff was always friendly and informative. Greg S. was really patient and went through the features of just about every bike on the showroom floor. His information helped me choose the bike I would enjoy most, a Streetfighter S I have been riding that machine every chance possible since buying it just about two months ago, It is awesome. On the accessories side, Ron M. offered very good equipment at competitive prices in a very non-BS manner. If they have the stuff I like I will buy from them because overall the price and ability to deal with a live retailer are worth the few bucks I could save over the internet. The service side was a little less satisfactory but I'm hoping it will be better at the next visit. "

"When I decided to get my dream bike I checked all over california. There were only a few places that had the ducati I was looking for. They were very fast in responding with info and hard numbers so I could make a purchace with no doubts. Greg Seirra was the sales rep that helped me from my initial phone call to making my dream come true, when I got to take my ducati 1100 home. He has even called and emailed a few time since the purchace just to say hi and see how I was enjoying the bike. He even hooked me up with extras. Every employee in the place made us feel comfortable. You definitely don't feel like you're getting attacked by vultures when you walk through the door. They will get you something to drink, point you in the right direction and leave you alone to look around. It is a two hour drive for us to get there, but I am so glad I took the time. Thank again Greg for making my dream bike come true and making the whole process painless."

"I bought a starter bike for my son and a 2010 Ducati Multistrada a while back and I've neglected writing this testimonial long enough. I don't know where to start. I had put my name on a list at another Ducati dealer to be called when the Multis came out, but I never was called. I went to San Jose to test ride a BMW GS. I had sold my Harley and the money for a new bike was burning a hole in my pocket. For 3 years my plan was to buy a GS. After the test ride, I was missing something. I started negotiating on price and was made a good offer on the GS. But something was missing in the test ride, and I could not put my finger on it. I recall having scanned the internet the night before and saw that the Motor Cafe had a Multi Demo. I recalled reading the Cycle World article on the Multi many times over and told the BMW dealer I just was not sure. The Multi had planted the seed of doubt in my mind, so off I went to the Motor Cafe to see if they would let me ride their Multi. In comes Jose Ramos into my life - a delightful and knowledgeable salesman. He and I went on a ride together and I was feeling everything I was missing from the GS before I even left The Motor Cafe parking lot. When we returned the money burning a hole in my pocket to buy a GS was placed as a deposit on the new Multi I ordered on the spot. Jose communicated often with me while I waited on the list (only about 8 weeks as I recall). In the meantime my son wanted to buy a starter Kawi klx 250. Jose took care of that too. When I got it home (70 miles away mind you). I thought the carb was acting up. Jose came and got it. WOW!!!! When my Ducati was delivered, Jose had installed the 2 accessories I wanted on the bike. WOW!!!!! The parts and accessories guys at The Motor Cafe treated me great. Overall, I had an excellent experience with both sales and both bikes at The Motor Cafe. I would not hesitate to buy another bike from Jose or from them again. I am very happy the events of that day led me to them. Just to note, as far as I know, my name is still on the list at another Ducati Dealer for them to call when the 2010 Multi's arrive. It's now 2011, and I have yet to get called. I'm so pleased I went elsewhere by happenstance and met the guys at The Motor Cafe."

"I anbought my first bike (2004 Rebel) in Milpitas. Had so many bad experiences with rude employees. Everytime I'd go for service, they treated me like my bike was not a real bike. I had an accident and they tried to milk the insurance company for every little scratch, making the repair cost too high rendering it as 'totalled.' As they changed ownership, they kept my bike for months 'waiting for parts.' Finally, we got them to repair it so that it is safe enough to ride, which the insurance paid for. I had a 1987 450 Rebel and they treated my bike like trash. Many of my Honda owner friends stopped going to the dealership. Presently, they specialize in motorsports--catering to the younger riders. My biggest testimony about HPD, was when my Rebel 450 blew a piston and HPD Rebuilt the engine! I really was happy with Murray, who worked on my bike--he was very passionate and understood my trauma--not unlike a physician. He regularly called to update the condition, progress, and prognosis of my baby. He worked magic and made best with parts no longer available, by building or using the closest type. We'd bring in parts that we purchased from a guy in Florida who restores old Rebels. Sometimes, if all I needed was some tubing, I get it for free. So, when it was time to upgrade my bike, My husband and I stumbled upon a good deal on a beautiful 2006 Red Shadow 600VLX Deluxe. I love this bike (had since last May). I get alot of compliments. When I bought it, the sales rep even gave me a Honda T-Shirt with HPD logo on the back! OK, If I were rich, I'd probably get a Harley, but my Honda is way more dependable! I just wish my seat was a little softer--I guess because I weigh only 90 lbs---and talk about a well-balanced machine! Please contact me I love to share with other bike lovers!"

"Dealers and other business's often advertise and talk about service, but that is where it stops. Not so at HPD ! When I stopped in at HPD to look at what there was, Jose took as much time as needed to listen to what I was looking for and made several recomendations. After purchasing my new CB900, I was unable to get there to pick it up. Jose jumped in and offered to deliver it on his way home, on his own time, not being asked to. He then went over all the in's and out's of the bike and didn't leave until he and I was comfortable with all aspects of the bike. Good job HPD and a very well deserved THANK YOU to Jose Ramos !! "I got the part I needed (online order) for my Honda eu2000 generator easily, for a good price, and it was shipped in a reasonable amount of time. I'm not sure, however, if I would have found the part online if I had not already known the part number because "generator" is not one of the categories to choose from. This may be a blessing in disguise because nobody else seemed to have the part and it was backordered from Honda. Also, "received" was a bit confusing when I checked the tracking of my package but when I called it was explained to me and I received my part later that day. I'll be back."
